EDUFAIR 2019 STELLA MARIS SCHOOL BSD: LEARN CAN BE ANYWHERE
Stepping on 12th grade, in general all students have begun to think about where to continue their studies. No exception 12th grade Stella Maris BSD school students. And one of the activities or events that are in great demand is the Education Fair or often called the Edu Fair. For 2019, Edu Fair at Stella Maris BSD school will take place on Friday (9/27/2019) and Saturday (9/28/2019) from 08.00 – 13.00.
In his remarks at the opening ceremony of the 2019 Edu Fair, the Head of School (HOS) of Stella Maris BSD school, Mr. Kamilus Inguliman stressed that activities like this were very beneficial for students. Students must be true learners and sincerity is the basis. Ask earnestly and understand sincerely. Because learning can be anywhere, it doesn’t have to be in the classroom and learn from anyone, from many people. He added that many first year students felt the wrong direction, while time was running out and the costs had been incurred. So Edu Fair activities can be one way to anticipate this, because students can find as much information as possible before deciding where to go to college. Mrs. Anastasia Uning Widyastuti, Secondary Principal Stella Maris BSD who also gave a speech gave a message to students to really use this event as a place to focus on the ideals of achieving a bright future. And he added that as technology develops and advances, there are more and more fields of study to continue studying.
Edu Fair 2019 Stella Maris BSD school was attended by 45 universities, public and private. Some of them are Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Atmajaya Catholic University Jakarta, Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN), Pelita Harapan University (UPH), Prasetiya Mulya University, Binus University, President University, Stema College and many more. In terms of visitors, apart from Stella Maris BSD school students, other school students were also attended, including Santa Ursula and SMA Negeri 22 Tangerang. Alen and Wina, 12th grade Stella Maris BSD students who were met on the sidelines of the activity, said that events like this are very good because they can get a lot of information, so they can compare. When asked about future plans, Alen wants to continue to UMN, while Wina wants to continue to Atmajaya Unika. Good luck, kid!
