Field Trip is one of our programs wherein our children get to experience out-of-school activities starting from getting all assembled inside the bus with friends without being accompanied by their parents to our destination, until the time when they go back to school. Each phase of the field trip is a learning process for our children. They show happiness and pride knowing that they are big and independent enough to join this program. They get to learn about themselves like better managing their feelings especially when they feel tired or cranky, they learn to cooperate with their friends better, they learn to communicate better, they learn to be responsible with their things, and most importantly, they are able to learn about the outdoors that stimulate curiosity as well as their gross motor skills in the company of their friends outside the confines of the classrooms.

As Entrepreneurship being the main purpose of this program, the activities involved during field trips stimulate independence, curiosity, respect, caring, collaboration, self-control, and other Entrepreneurial characteristics.

Preschool had different Field Trip destinations for each level this year. Toddler and Nursery levels went to Faunaland, Ancol last Friday, April 12, 2019, to learn about animals, like what their diets are as well as where they came from. K1 level went to Inagro-Bogor last Wednesday, April 10, 2019 to know about the different planting methods like using Hydrogel instead of the usual soil used for planting. Being able to experience hands-on with nature increases their awareness of the presence of God as the Creator of all and build their gratefulness towards God’s creations as well. And last but not the least, K2 level went to KidZania last Friday, May 17, 2019, to learn about Entrepreneurship.

It is such a joy to see their happy faces during this learning process and we will strive to continue to innovate programs so our children can continue to experience the different dynamics of the learning process to implement our vision for our students which is to be “Excellent in Nurturing Lifelong Learners with Entrepreneurial Characters based on Christian Values”.
