It was really exciting and uplifting event that we had for two days, on May 16 and 17, 2019 in Eco Camp Dago Bandung. We really had our best times having many activities that were dealing with go green and no plastics slogan added with discpline and practise  in easy and simple life skills such as cleaning their beds and cleaning their surroundings.  Students learnt many things espeacilly about taking care of our mother Earth.

We set up early to avoid traffic yet we arrived there after 7 hours on the road. The students did not feel tired since they sang, did some games and talked happily one another. When we got to Eco Camp, the guides already prepared to welcome us and led us to the place. We soon settled with the beautiful scenery, green and refreshing feeling.

We received some rules and regulations including having 8 groups, meals without meat along with silent moments in between and the needs to make the place neat, tidy and clean. Unfortunatelly, after we finished with our meals, it was raining. So we had our activities indoor. The students followed activities well. At night, we had our bon fire while the groups prepared with their groups dances.

The next day activities were the most activities that required the students team work to face certain questions and problems in the real life such as how to get clean water, handle some animals, take care of their health by showing the effect of burning and smoking. The last activities were saying good things and cleaning up. Two days we spent there were not enough. We learnt many things especially the place shows us many useful things such as how to take care of our surrounding by having less usage plastics and cleaning the places to ensure we do not litter everywhere and not to rely on someone if we can do the tasks by ourselves.

Until we meet again…hopefully they will also embrace our next batch to get the same things, the same information and the same feelings. Thank you again.
